Remington Arms - Bad rifle

i bought a new sps 223 varmite rifle last week shot it over the weekend

you could not hit a ground hog with this gun if he was 30 pound overweight

it has 1 in 12 twist tried 30 gr 40 gr and 55 gr bullits same result looked down the barrrel rifling is so faint as to say it almost has

none will call remington monday to see if they will fix there gun shows poor qualty build will see if there costmer service is better.i bought a new vtr last year almost had to re build the dam gun to get it to shoot

should have learnsd from that mistake i work in a factory and my money comes the hard way had to work a lot of over time to buy this if you want to call it a rifle shoots like a shot gun i have over 30 experiance with firearms .

Same problem with the 700 7mm Mag.Cust service stated that they had no accuracy guarantee and that the "fact" that the gun was not broken in properly contributed to the inaccuracy.

Not sure where they got their "fact" from. The gun was seasoned correctly, this isn't my first rodeo. Tried various scopes and rounds with no improvement. Not a happy camper.

As the firearm is still under warranty I asked that it be inspected all the same.No reply, no rma, no nothing.

Gbeaty1 - please give us a ring to discuss.We rarely have accuracy complaints, especially with the Model 700 (hence why it's the sniper gun of choice for most military, LE, etc.).

Please call us at 800-243-9700.If there's an issue with the gun, we'll gladly fix it.
